banner-71562_640We have a great team of Facing Up 2 Kidney Cancer heroes who are helping us to reach our £94,000 target over the next two years. The dates of these additional events* put on by our wonderful supporters are listed here.  Last updated 05/02/16, more pictures coming soon.

Huge thanks to all our heroes, as we know we need the generous help of others to spread the awareness across the whole country and raise the funds we need for the vital research into tool for earlier diagnosis and better treatments for kidney cancer.

A local wine tasting raised over £1300 in December 2015, huge thanks to Mark and Pat Blandford

The Lyonshall Coffee Morning Crew raised £100 on Saturday 9th May 2015. 

Heather Mccalman ran the 10k Aberystwyth Race for Life on Sunday 16th May 2015

Bruce Havard, the Chef from Berries (the Restaurant at Oakchurch Farm Shop) cycled 170 miles across the Way of the Roses coast to coast cycle route across Lancashire & Yorkshire in June 2015. 

Elaine Cook, a kidney cancer survivor, ran the Race for Life ‘Pretty Muddy’ obstacle course on July 18th 2015 near Preston to raise funds for the Facing Up 2 Kidney Cancer Fund. Elaine will also be meeting us at the start at Blackpool. Elaine has already raised over £150, thank you so much. Completed – over £350 raised

Letton Church Cream Teas on  26th July 2015 From 2.00 to 4.30pm. Postcode HR3 6DH  Jon will be there with his motorbike.  £300 raised

Allison Grundy and Rob Arden bravely undertook The Peak Sky Race and Rise Above Sportive for Facing Up 2 Kidney Cancer in 2015 and raised almost £3,000.

Taking cakes to work at Nidera in Ipswich by Mark & Jan Barnes and raised over £60

Debbie Murphy ran the Race for Life 10k in Birmingham raising over £200

A Coffee Morning at Staunton On Wye Village Hall took place on September 19th and raised an amazing £553. Thank you everyone so much.

A sponsored 50 mile bicycle ride from Saltram House in Plymouth via Dartmoor to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital took place on September 19th. This event was organised by retired MP The Rt Honourable Michael Jack, who is riding his bicycle along with a few other dedicated cyclists to support Jon. This raised over £1,000. Thank you everyone.
