Postage Stamp Appeal

We’d like to remind everyone that Facing Up 2 Kidney Cancer  runs an ongoing, year on year, Postage Stamp Appeal to help increase our much needed funds for research into Kidney Cancer via the UCL Development Fund. We are working with the help of Citadel Stamps to make this happen.

We would love for all our supporters – both personal and corporate – to save all their used postage stamps which come in on their everyday post. These include all types of stamps from plain ones to commemorative and special edition stamps.

The stamps should be carefully clipped, if possible, leaving around 5-10mm of paper surrounding the stamp. We accept ALL postage stamps from anywhere in the world.

Please save and send the stamps to the address below:

As an extra bonus for increasing our funds when sending the package of stamps to Stromness please try to use modern commemoratives on the package. These should be high value stamps preferably, which are available at all Post Offices  when sending us the collected stamps. (NB:The gold labels frequently used by the Post Office instead of postage stamps have no value to us or collectors and should if possible be avoided.)

We encourage you to please spread the word and ask family, friends, work colleagues, schools and local authority groups to get involved as the more stamps collected the more funds are generated for us.

We are also hugely grateful for any unwanted stamp collections or albums to be sent to our appeal. Every penny helps us to reach Jon’s target of £94,000. Together we will save lives.

Thank you for your support. In 2015 we raised £157 from used stamps, in 2016 we will do better than that!
